Asymmetrical design can be set up with the peak on the left or right side. (The right side peak is standard. If you want the peak on the left, please state your request during ordering.) Allows more headroom over your head.
The 1.5 person model has plenty of room for one person and lots of gear, or a smaller person like a child, or your pet. The two person model has plenty of room for two people and some gear.
Extemely lightweight (about 6 oz for the 1.5 person and 7.5 oz for the 2 person cuben fiber models). Can be packed in pocket in pack or pannier.
Sets up using two trekking poles or can be hung from trees.
For most applications, the Cub Den is available in .51 oz cuben fiber. For a more extreme conditions, we offer it in .74 oz cuben fiber. Also available in 30D silnylon.
Available with perimeter netting and/or a full net door for use in bug infested seasons. Netting can be 1.1 oz/sq yd (standard) or .75 oz/sq yd (optional) no-see-um.
For extreme conditions, a roll-up zippered vestibule is available. Cuben fiber (.51 oz) beak adds about 2 oz to the total weight.
A rear covered vent is available (recommended with optional vestibule)
Corners have webbing with line locs for stakes or cords.
