The Bug Bivy now comes in two sizes: Regular and XL.
Available netting can be 1.1 oz/sq yd (standard) or .75 oz/sq yd (optional) no-see-um
The regular Bug Bivy has a smaller internal space with about 20" height at the head and fits someone up to about 6' 2". It weighs about 12 oz. packed with pole, lines, and stakes.
The larger Bug Bivy XL has more internal space for larger people or for someone who wants more room at the head (about 24" height) and fits someone up to about 6'6". It weighs about 15 oz packed with pole, lines, and stakes.
Both bivies have very small footprints so that they can be pitched in almost any locaton that enables stakes or lines.
Bivy can be packed in small pocket in pack or pannier.
Pitch with Easton shock-corded pole and three stakes or leave pole at home and attach netting loop to tarp with lines.
Bathtub style floor (30D silnylon 1.35 oz) to keep water away from your sleeping bag.
All seams double or tripled stitched for durability.
No long guide lines to trip over in the dark. (Stakes attach to webbing.)
Lightweight Easton aluminum shock-corded pole (included) is collapsible for easy setup and storage.
Twin zippers open up on both sides and full across center of netting for easy entry and exit.
